We have "the space" that Chris and I have had many a discussion. It is above the fireplace, that doesn't have a mantel. A painting...but what and whose? We have often joked about Kramer's portrait from Seinfeld.
Or a family portrait?? Like in the style of American Gothic by Grant Wood
What I want to know is who builds a house with out a mantel? Seriously!
Suggestions being taken.

my folks had a montage of photographs of their children--of course there are six of us, so that adds up. But you could put up a 16x20 of a favorite family shot, or a series of shots that show how your family has grown. You could put up a wedding picture, picture with baby Paul, and a picture with baby Trevor; or family pictures in front of various places you have lived.....
