I never thought I would get into gardening so much. I put the seeds in the ground and then have to wait. During that time I begin to think they are faulty or maybe my soil is no good. I try to imagine what is going on underneath the dirt, the sprouting...but I am impatient! Just when I am about to go buy an already growing plant, they show themselves and I am like a proud mom.
These are thriving little pumpkins.

congratulations, proud mama! My understanding is they can thrive like crazy. However, I was not privy to that personally. I think rabbits ate ours. They never got bigger than a few inches tall.
I will be interested to see more pictures as your baby pumpkins grow!
