I have a heavy heart lately. I am sure all are aware of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Having lived there for 3 years I feel like I am losing a close friend and there is no way I can help. I have been waking up late or early in the morning in distress over this disaster. Wondering how we got here, why more can't be done, and what the future holds for all the loved ones living in the gulf...including the wildlife and beaches. All I have is hope that God is in control. I praise him through streams of tears.

Hold on to Hope and Prayer...... that is the best we can do!!!!! It is so sad.......
It makes me increasingly conscious of how I contribute to our nations dependence on oil and wonder what I can do to change that. But it's for the sake of the dolphins and the pelicans, and the fishermen and others who draw their life from the sea. Yes, it is so sad. We continue to pray it will mobilize us to make new choices, better choices...
