1. Romans: 18 Studies for Individuals and Groups by N.T. Wright Looks like an exciting Bible study and you can't go wrong with N.T. Wright
2.Cry, the Beloved Country by Alan Paton About 1/2 way through for the second time, a very good story
3.The Spice Necklace: My Adventures in Caribbean Cooking, Eating, and Island Life Food, sun, and island living sounds like a good combo to me
4.The Lotus Eaters: A Novel by Tatjana Soli A recommended read, not to sure of a war story but it has gotten good reviews.
5.Gulliver's Travel by Jonathan Swift A classic I never read that sounded interesting and an easy read.
6.Our Greatest Gift: A Meditation on Dying and Caring by Henri Nouwen To most this would be maybe a morbid subject but lately I have been reflecting on death and my own mortality and have been finding great hope and joy.
This should keep me busy for the next few months. I am sharing this list because I know I am often at a loss for what to read, the options are endless. Sometimes just hearing about a book will spark interest. If you have read a good book lately please share. I think I am going to try to post what I am reading every now and again Maybe if it is something I truly enjoy I will even come back and recommend it but this might also be the last time I post on reading books again! Such is my crazy life.
Who doesn't love a good book!?
