My Favorite seat in our house. You can often find Chris or I sitting in this passed down rocker. We love to prop our feet up on the couch's arm and read, knit, or talk with guests.
Notice the Lamp,I look at the lamp and I thank the Lord for an unlikely friendship. When we moved here we rented a house from a man. Things started out shaky, the house smelled bad of cat urine and it was close to foreclosure to name a few. But pass all that the owner became a good friend to my husband and has allowed us to share in God's work in his life.
Through him we met another family that has become very close to ours! After we moved out of his house he let his family friends move in that had just lost their home. And He actually just rented the house next door to his own house. The owner opened up his rented house to let Chris run a youth group. Well, the family next door had 4 teenagers! All that quickly loved Chris! Once again God brought us wonderful friends to share his love with!

you never said anything about the lamp though...you started to but did not finish the story. btw it looks like a really hip and awesome lamp. one that says "hey, look at me, I am coolness personified." I just have to say whoever got that lamp into your house has a sense of style unmatched by...well...just about anyone I suppose.
