I just wrote a whole bunch and some how deleted it (argh!) So here is the much shorter version.
Chris was ordained a minister on Wednesday. It was a great day and just reminded me of how much God has a plan and all the wonderful people he puts in our path as support for his plan! Thank you! Chris's family is in town to help celebrate and it is great to share this with them. Paul is loving having so many grandparents around.
Our baby boy had an ultrasound also on Wednesday (Wednesday was very busy) because I am measuring pretty big for my due date. Baby is doing well, he is in the right position and looks very healthy at an estimated 6 and 1/2 pounds with about 5 more weeks to go! Yikes, big baby alert! Honestly I was hoping they would move my due date up, but the Dr says they don't change those dates this far along and that she would keep an eye on things. I am so miserable, I can't even imagine another 5 weeks. But it is all about baby...
The gulf coast has experienced 1 tropical storm and 2 hurricanes so far this season. Our area has not seen much action. Actually Hurricane Ike, the one about to hit Texas has brought about the biggest known inconvenience to our area, washing out one of the three roads that leads out of Destin. The surf is causing some coastal flooding especially to beaches that were already suffering from erosion.
Chris and I celebrated 5 years of marriage last weekend. The funny thing is that we both couldn't figure out how many years it had been till we pulled out our marriage certificate. We are so bad with dates!

Hang in there girl... only five weeks to go and then you will have your little one. I have a vague memory of feeling that way with Josh, who was almost 10 lbs but it was in the winter... sorry. Congrats to Chris!! Horray!
