Update on 002 PT

Well...he will sit on the potty happily.
He will tell me when he is wet.
He will go pee-pee in the potty when it doesn't interrupt his busy playtime.
How do you combat that?
I am probably not helping by being my normal adventuresome self and not staying home...

We press on.

When we were in the middle of this effort (ok, 17 years ago), we heard it sometimes helps when you buy them spiffy big-boy underpants. So we got some Peanuts ones, which fit their definition of "cool" at the time. Did it work? Debatable.

At one point, one of the boys was jumping on the couch, in just his Peanuts pants, then stops dead and gleefully announces, "I made Snoopy SPIT!!"

That was ~not ~ a victorious moment. We have not, however, let him live it down. :-D

You'll figure out what you need to do to get him to potty on his own. Eventually he'll realize he likes the dryness of his undies better than being wet. Good luck! I'll be there before long!
