Okay, so I am not one to care about labels and such, but I had to share Paul's first pair of Nikes. We went to the outlet mall today and found these. When Paul saw them he said, "Cool, like Dad's shoes." Then he explained that they were racing shoes to go real fast. Ahhhh, I love this talking thing!

I tried SO HARD to get my kids to ignore labels. I also went all the way over (from Evanston) to Woodfield to get REAL Converse All-Star High Tops, just like Joe had when he was little.
They were also sure they were just so they could run really fast, too.
Now look at them.........
I meant, look at my kids. Labels?????
oh, and the sneakers had to be RED.
I ended up liking the hightop feature, because I could double knot them and D&J could not pull them off!! ONE battle I finally won.
