I wonder what his inspiration for this work was? The solid U middle and the curly pipes reaching out... Once in an intro art class we learned about lines and the use of lines and the personalities lines can take on can. In this class we had to draw a line that represented ourselves, mine was a line that was full of big loops and squigglies, silly dreamer. This line says Solid foundation, but a dreamer.Just a side note, I wonder if he even had a thought that my son would love to play on it?

I bet the designer of this sculpture KNEW kids would be climbing on it, and designed it with that in mind! It's on public land, there are no signs saying NOT to climb (I assume!)...and it looks so climbable! I'd want to conquer it if I were 2 or 3 or 4 years old! :)
